Respect and behaviour
- Unsociable or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Intimidation of guests by individuals or groups is not allowed.
- Anyone visiting without the intention to shop may be asked to leave.
- Clothing that covers the head or face (such as hoods) is not permitted, except for religious or medical reasons. You may
be asked to remove face coverings for identification by police or staff. - Appropriate attire is required at all times. Tops must be worn – no bare torsos.
Alcohol and drugs
- No drinking alcohol or carrying open containers in malls, car parks, or outdoor areas.
- No use of legal highs (including N2O canisters).
- Illegal drugs or drug-related items are strictly prohibited and will be reported to the police.
Safety and security
- Keep emergency access routes clear at all times.
- In rare cases, we may request a security search with your permission.
Activities not allowed:
- Leafleting, canvassing, surveys, or interviews without prior approval.
- Unauthorised busking or selling goods in car parks or outdoor spaces.
- Car clubs, meet-ups, or cruising on site.
Health and environment
- No smoking or vaping inside the malls.
- Fire exits must only be used in emergencies.
No cycling, rollerblading, scooters, hoverboards, or skating inside the centre. - Accessible scooters and motorised platforms must keep to a maximum speed of 5mph in the centre and pedestrian areas.
- Park only in designated spaces and leave priority bays for disabled customers and families.
Photography and filming
- Personal photography is welcome, but we may restrict filming or photography for safety, privacy, or legal reasons.
- Commercial photography or filming requires permission from Centre Management.
- We may occasionally take photos or videos for promotional purposes. By entering Westwood Cross, you agree to this.
Technology
Drones or similar devices are not allowed unless authorised or used by emergency services.
Vehicle rules
- No parking of commercial vehicles in customer car parks.
- Lorries, camper vans, and caravans are not permitted.
- Coaches must book in advance and follow set-down and parking instructions.
- No idling – please switch off engines when parked to reduce emissions (except emergency or accessibility needs).
