Superdrug opens its biggest local store at Westwood Cross

Health and beauty retailer Superdrug has officially opened the doors to its brand-new store at Westwood Cross, marking a significant milestone for the brand in Thanet. Spanning over 6,500 sq. ft, it’s now the largest Superdrug store in the area – and it’s packed with even more of the everyday essentials, luxury treats, and beauty services shoppers know and love.

As part of Superdrug’s continued commitment to expanding its high street presence, the Westwood Cross store has also created three new permanent jobs, with the retailer planning to open 25 new locations across the UK in 2025.

A bigger, better beauty experience

The upgraded store brings a fresh new experience to guests at Westwood Cross. Alongside an extensive range of health and beauty products, customers will find a bigger selection of cosmetics, fragrances, toiletries, and wellness essentials – including Superdrug’s own-brand favourites such as Studio London, Me+, B. Skin and Vitamin E.

Shoppers can also explore exclusive beauty and personal care brands, with something to suit every budget and routine.

Say hello to the Beauty Studio

For those looking to refresh their look or enjoy a little pampering, the in-store Beauty Studio offers a wide range of treatments at great value. Services include eyebrow shaping, nail treatments, acrylics and piercings – all delivered by trained beauty professionals in a dedicated space.

Visitors can also sign up for Superdrug’s Health & Beautycard and VIP Rewards programme to collect points, access lower member prices, and enjoy exclusive perks such as birthday treats, bonus points and the option to pay using points.
