Step into Socktober at Westwood Cross
This October, Westwood Cross is proud to launch Socktober 2025 – a vibrant campaign raising awareness of mental health and supporting our local charity, Mind in Bexley and East Kent.
We’re inviting everyone – staff, retailers, and customers alike – to wear their brightest, boldest socks throughout October. Why? Because something as simple as colourful socks can help spark conversations, encourage openness, and remind us all that it’s ok to talk about mental health.
How to get involved in Socktober
We’d love you to join us in making Socktober 2025 a success:
- 🧦 Wear your brightest socks – spark conversations and show your support.
- 📸 Snap a photo – visit the giant sock at the Community Hub (between Next and WHSmith) or share a picture of your funky socks at home or work.
- 💬 Post online – spread the word on Facebook and LinkedIn using the hashtags #Socktober25 and #wxsocktober.
- 💛 Donate via JustGiving – every pound goes directly to Mind in Bexley and East Kent, helping to make a lasting difference.
Socktober isn’t just about socks – it’s about starting conversations, raising awareness, and supporting one another. Whether you’re snapping a selfie, chatting on a MallTalk bench, or booking a wellbeing appointment, every action counts.
So pull on those bold socks, get talking, get sharing, and let’s make Socktober 2025 one to remember – for our community and for mental health.
